We cordially invite you to contact any of the officers, board members, or committee chairs with your questions, comments, and suggestions for the Society of Southwest Archivists. We are your organization and we look forward to hearing from you.
The SSA is led by four officers (president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer) and six Executive Board members. In addition, the society has eleven committees: Annual Meeting Local Arrangements, Annual Meeting Program, Annual Meeting Site Selection, Distinguished Service Award, Internet Outreach, Membership, Nominating, Professional Development, Publications, and Scholarships.
Society members elect all officers and board members to two-year terms except the president, who serves one year as vice-president, one year as president, and a third year as immediate past president/chair of the Distinguished Service Award Committee. Together, the officers and board members comprise the Executive Board, which governs the society.
