Ground Transportation
The hotel is approximately 17 minutes from the airport by taxi, which costs approximately $18.00. Free shuttle service is available through the hotel. Those who plan to fly should contact Local Arrangements Chair Laura McLemore with airline, flight number, and flight time within 48 hours of scheduled arrival.
Driving
If you plan to drive, Shreveport is 3 hours from Dallas, 4 ½ hours from Houston, 5 hours from Austin, 7 hours from San Antonio, 5 hours from New Orleans, 6 hours from Oklahoma City, and 3 hours from Little Rock. If you’re in Arizona, New Mexico, or El Paso, just hop onto I-20 and about 16 hours later (more or less), you’ll pull into Shreveport. Self-parking and valet parking at the hotel are both free!
While in the City
Many attractions are easily within walking distance of the hotel. Take Sportran (city transit Route 16) or All American Shuttle service to the Louisiana Boardwalk from the hotel.
